Mountain Moose hunts are conducted in zones 434 & 430. These moose hunts are conducted from Sept 24 - Nov. 30. These are calling season hunts with the prime rut time being Sept. 24 - Oct 20. Bulls average in the 50-60 inch category.

Hunts are conducted from mountain camps or from the comfort of one of our rustic cabins. In either case expect to use horses for a lot of the time, however if you cannot ride we can do spot/stalk, tree stand/blind, walking, and even vehicle based hunts.

Rifle hunters to date enjoy 100% success. Bow hunters have had 100% opportunity. Typically you can expect to see moose nearly every day and some days several bulls. Every year at least one Boone & Crockett size bull has been located.
